The battle of the multi-colored glitters!

Ok, I admit it. You got me addicted to nail wheels. LOL This is fun, quick and easy! I am really enjoying doing these comparisons for you!

Today I want to show you a comparison of the multi-colored glitters I currently have. I did at one point have Wet N Wild Party of Five Glitters as well, but I sent it to Canada (along with a few extras) for Rebecca to make more Rebecca Likes Cupcakes.

L-R: Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular Top Coat, Ulta Pinata Yada Yada, Milani Gems

L-R: Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular Top Coat 1 coat then 2, Ulta Pinata Yada Yada 1 coat then 2, Milani Gems 1 coat then 2

ONE coat **Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular Top Coat** TWO coats

ONE coat **Ulta Pinata Yada Yada** TWO coats

ONE coat **Milani Gems** TWO coats

Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular Top Coat (two on left), Ulta Pinata Yada Yada (two on right)

Ulta Pinata Yada Yada (two on left), Milani Gems (two on right)

FINAL VERDICT:
These 3 are NOT dupes! While Ulta PYY and Milani Gems are very close, they still are not identical. Sephora Spark-tacular is completely different. It has three different sized glitters while PYY and Gems only have two. Gems seems to cover better and have a thicker clear coat, while PYY seems runny IMO. It is hard to make out ALL of the colors in these glitters, but I see more blue/green/cool colors in Gems and more red/pink/warm colors in PYY.

Which is my favorite? Sephora Spark-tacular of course! ;-)

Ulta Toe-Tally Matte Minis!

You may or may not have seen this set in your local Ulta recently. Its a new set of minis called Toe-Tally Matte!

Within the set are 4 matte colors plus a mini Ulta top coat. Here are the names of the colors: Pink is Sunbathing Beauty, Green is Beach Bum, Blue is Surfer Girl, and Yellow is Bananarama. I was excited to buy these, they retail for $10 and I had a $5 coupon at the time, so they ended up being $1 a bottle lol. Three out of the 4 are a shimmery matte, the green is a flat color. It reminds me of Zoya Mitzi.

The pink, green and yellow seemed extra thick to me. They were tough to work with. Application was uneven and if I wasnt careful, bald spots appeared. It took 3-4 coats for a somewhat even appearance for the those 3 colors. I might try to add some thinner to the bottles and try it again. The blue applied well. I only needed 2 coats.

Bananarama

Beach Bum

Surfer Girl

(Pardon the yellowy skin in this photo)
Here you can see how uneven and lumpy the polish looks!

I was curious to see what these would look like shiny. So I added a layer of top coat. I think all 4 colors look much better now. Although you can still see a groove in the pink, the yellow is super shimmery!

Overall I would say, for the $5 I paid, it wasn't a bad deal. I love mattes, and I didn't have a yellow or this shade of blue in a matte polish. I also LOVE the Ulta mini bottles. Much more than the regular sized bottles, which IMO are clunky and awkward.

Have any of you purchased this set? If so, what were your results?
