Nubar Lemon Sherbet

Nubar Lemon Sherbet was sent to me to review because Nubar knows how much I love yellow! 

I really enjoy this polish! It is a pastel yellow creme which I though was perfect for the first day of Summer! The first coat was a bit streaky, which is to be expected with pastel cremes. The second coat smoothed it out well, but I ended up applying 3 coats for better coverage. I topped it off with Nubar Diamont Seal & Shine Topcoat.

Pink Wednesday! Nubar Hot Pink!

Happy Pink Wednesday!! Today I want to show you another one of the lovely nail polishes that Nubar sent me for review. Nubar Hot Pink is exactly how it sounds! It is your traditional hot pink color, so girly and fun. Hot Pink goes on well, but I used 3 coats for even coverage. When dry, it leaves a satin look, as you can see in my first few photos. I later added a coat of Nubar Diamont Top Coat for some extra awesome shine!

Nubar Star Sparkle!

Nubar Star Sparkle is another one of the lovely polishes that Nubar was kind enough to send me for review. It is one of my favorite kinds of nail polish too...holographic glitter! Nubar Star Sparkle is a dense glitter packed into a clear base. There are two different size glitters inside which are silver with a rainbow flash. Application was very easy and the glitter cover well with even one coat! Here are some photos with only one coat of Star Sparkle...

 I used both with this mani, and wear time was improved. I would recommend picking up Nubar's base and top coats if you don't have them already. I am finding that using the same brand of top/base as the polish helps the polish last longer and apply better.

Nubar Costa Rica Coral!

Nubar was nice enough to send me some products to review, and this is one of the colors I received. It is actually one of their new MINI bottles, which are 0.25 fl oz. Nubar's website describes Costa Rica Coral as "a bright tangerine colored warm tone inspired by the Ricordia variety". I really do like this color. It is a bright, cherry coral shade that goes on smoothly and has some shine to it. I had no problems applying it, the brush was easy to use, even with the mini size. I did put on 3 coats though. I felt like 2 were a tad streaky, and I was right, it looked much better with 3. It dried relatively quickly even with the 3 coats.

Nubar also sent me their Diamont Seal and Shine Topcoat. I used it over Costa Rica Coral. It is a thick top coat, which also applies smoothly. The smell is not too strong, and it works well. It definitely adds more shine to the Costa Rica Coral. When dry, this feels very soft and smooth to the touch. Super shiny, it almost looks "wet".  I will be using it from now on with my Nubar polishes.

I took all of these photos outside in natural light without a flash. Its a cloudy day, so I couldn't get any sunshine shots, but I think this polish still looks absolutely gorgeous!
