Lady Froufrou.

Top New Look - Jupe H&M - Pochette Zara - Escarpins Zara

There are special offers on Asos online store very often. Free shipping, -20% or -30% voucher codes... They really want us to spend money on them! It works as I have recently purchased my first armour ring in placing an order on their shop. I enjoyed the -20% voucher code ASOSLOOK. I am a bit late as everybody got his/her armour ring but I am happy anyway :)

Summer Lovin', Havin' a Blast

Summer Lovin', Havin' a Blast
Shirt + Belt + Shorts + Scarf + Bag - Vintage, Bra - Forever 21, Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell, Jewelry - Konstantino + Flea Market + DIY, Lipstick - Revlon in Strawberry Suede

Inspired by my last inspiration post, I decided yesterday to dress like the kind of person whose jokes are never understood. I think it worked. I wore this nuts concoction to the Rose Bowl flea market with Brit and Nicki, as well as our wonderful friend Colleen, who does not have a blog.

And I think that people just regarded us as some strange sort of spectacle, occasionally venturing up to ask for photographs or inquire about something we were wearing. By the end of it, Nicki and I were both walking around with carpet bags in addition to our usual purses, adding to the gaggle's overall "what-tha?" allure.

Inspired by the below editorial and by all of the sights I took in yesterday, I put together a summer shopping checklist for myself. I've included links to similar or pertinent products, just so that we're all on the same page here, but you know me...I'll be at the thrift stores seeing what I can find that approximates the below items.

Jean Greige's Recommended Summer Shopping List

Jewelry is really the only thing on this list that is a sure-buy for me. I don't know why it's okay for me to spend money on jewelry...maybe the longevity of it is comforting or something

I'm a Minimalish I'm a Minimalish

I'm a Minimalish
Top - Courtesy of Chicwish ($35), Pants - GET from Neiman Marcus Last Call, Shoes - Alice & Olivia for Payless (bough secondhand), Jewelry - mostly Konstantino

So, this is how I do minimalism, apparently. Look Ma, no rings! I couldn't resist the bracelets, though, which is why this is just minimalish. Please ignore the fact that I look inebriated in every photo -- my eyes have been extremely photosensitive lately and it is not fun.

I loved reading everyone's thoughts on subfashion and the mainstream! I completely agree with the general consensus, which is that fashion is a conversation that occurs between artists and patrons, and through that dialogue, we see crossover.

Since this outfit is so dull, I am going to leave you with something bright and colorful! This is an editorial from the May issue of Interview.

Methinks that tomorrow, I will be dressed like a snow cone.

Sunshine Lady

Model Alejandra Alonso poses for the latest issue of Vogue Russia, May 2011. Lensed by Mariano Vivanco, Alejandra wears tropical and animal print swimsuits from labels such as Balenciaga, Etro and Missoni, styled by Katerina Mukhina. The model poses against a beach backdrop in the editorial titled "Sunshine Lady."

&M and Vogue China

H&M and Vogue China, issue of May 2011, collaborate to bring forth affordable pieces in a high fashion way. High end Frankreps stylist Akari Endo-Gaut has worked with top model Du Juan for this shoot, lensed by acclaimed fashion photographer Benny Horne. It's good too see such editorials coming out as the regular consumer finds it hard to buy the latest high end fashion wear. The H&M outfits are fun, modern, chic, sophisticated and very fashionable.

Just some more photos i prepared for the Bardot style page but didn't get used :) I think i've already mentioned how much i am loving scrunchies right now. Nothing much interesting to report other than the fact that i am having a date with my textbooks again..! Also, i'll try and snap some pics of my wardrobe too if i have time.

My shopping list: a colourful cape, sheer tights, overalls, bucket bag, looped scarf, corkboard pins & buckle boots. What's currently on yours?

PS! New header, hope you like it :) Not sure about the little drawings on the right at the moment, lemme know what you think!

Gorgeous. Buff/beige colors look beautiful on you.

Silky and creamy like a vanilla cream, this light beige mango skirt really floats each time there is a fresh spring breeze showing up. The fact that she's very long is also nice, it changes. We made those photos with Olivia a few days ago, the weather was amazing sun was shining so good! Spring is so relaxing, and yet it is easter holidays.
I wish you all guys a happy easter :)
